General purpose temperature transmitter : The CMCP565 is a general purpose temperature transmitter. It is compatible with common thermocouples, and provides a 4-20 mA output proportional to temperature. The unit determines temperature by processing the output of the thermocouple, and outputs a 4-20 mA dc current proportional to a user specified range. Interfacing the CMCP565 to a PLC or DCS will result in a low cost temperature monitoring system.
