Royce Technologies, the
automation and control Unit of ITT Industries Advanced Water
Technology (AWT) Division, is in the process of relocating
to an ITT facility based in Charlotte, NC. This state of
the art facility currently houses several ITT units including
the UV and Ozone disinfection product lines.
"The devastation left by hurricane Katrina has made
it impossible to rehabilitate the original Royce facility,"
said Tom Pokorsky, President of AWT. "This relocation
allows us to seamlessly meet our current customer orders
and the ability to expand production."
Jim Dartez, Royce General Manager will head up the relocation
effort. ITT has offered relocation packages to affected
employees. During the storm, and throughout its aftermath
the Royce sales management team and sales representatives
have kept active in the markets they serve. Royce Technologies
looks forward to restoring its usual high level of customer
service in the very near future.
