LT224 / LT322 Waverunner Digital Oscilloscopes : The
LeCroy WaveRunner series of digital oscilloscopes
offer powerful tools at reasonable prices. WaveRunner oscilloscopes
feature a user interface that is simple to learn and use,
making it easy to take advantage of the scope's unique capabilities.
SMART Trigger and SMART Memory let you capture signals while
maintaining the maximum resolution and accuracy. The large,
crisp 8.4" TFT flat display with analog and color-graded
persistence makes it easy to view and measure signals, as
well as locate rare signal problems. All models include
automatic measurements, waveform math functions, and analysis
capabilities so you can average sweeps, enhance vertical
resolution, and use FFT to view a signal's frequency spectrum.

200
MS/s Digital Storage Oscilloscope : These digital scopes
store waveforms in memory. For one-shot events, you can
see what happened before the trigger. You can store up to
two waveforms, each 2kx8 bit long. After acquisition, the
data can be manipulated and displayed in many different
ways. You can change time base or vertical position. You
can select which portion of a waveform you'd like to look
at in more depth. You can compare the measured waveform
to a "known-good" waveform in memory. Additionally,
Model 5105A incorporate glitch capture to see signals that
otherwise would not be seen. You can interpolate or smooth
the wave form to "fill in the gaps."
Features: Selectable acquisition modes
REFRESH: Trace is updated left to right.
Display may show only part of record
ROLL: adds new sample to right side of display. Display
always shows what's changing. Useful for slow moving signals.
SINGLE to store one shot event for analysis
PRETRIG to see what happened before the trigger
ENVELOPE to see how signal fluctuates
GLITCH CAPTURE for short duration voltage "spikes"
On-CRT readout for ease of use. Works in
both analog and digital mode. Set cursors
or have scope automatically take measurements
Linear, sinusoidal interpolation: Fills in digital dots
between two samples. Good for digital expansion.
Analog smoothing: Fills gap in an analog manner between
two adjacent display dots.

PCI-42X/43X
Digital Oscilloscopes : This product line consists
of the PCI-421, PCI-422, PCI-423, and PCI-425 Single Channel
Digital Oscilloscopes and the PCI-431, PCI-432, PCI-433,
and PCI-435 Dual Channel Digital Oscilloscopes. Each oscilloscope
in this product line has the capability to capture transient
waveforms and also has an Equivalent Time Sampling (ETS)
circuit that extends the equivalent sampling rate to 200
Gigasamples/second (GSPS) when acquiring repetitive signals.
This extraordinary 5 picosecond equivalent sampling is unmatched
by any card-based oscilloscope in the world and in most
cases outperforms the sample rates found on box-based oscilloscopes
costing 5 to 10 times more money. Each oscilloscope in this
product line fits into the ISA expansion slot of a PC, and
features seven vertical voltage ranges, AC/DC coupling,
offset control, and timebases from 500 ps/div up to 200
ms/div. Bandwidths for the product line range from 100 MHz
to 300 MHz.

Low-cost digital oscilloscope with colour display :
In addition to a colour display, the new Tektronix TDS2000
series offers up to 200MHz bandwidth coupled with high
sampling speed, a choice of two- or four-channel models
and many new features. Apart from improving the instruments'
aesthetic appearance, the colour display and intuitive
user interface translate into improved productivity for
the user. The fact that each active trace is presented
in a unique colour saves time, especially when three or
more waveforms are displayed, by making it easier to distinguish
waveforms at a glance. Associated screen readouts and
front-panel controls are similarly colour-coded for easy
control and accurate interpretation. TDS2000 oscilloscopes
feature 11 automatic measurements as standard, including
rise-time and fall-time, frequency, RMS and peak-to-peak
values. In addition, on-screen cursors can be used to
make manual measurements. In both cases, the measurements
are linked to the channel colour to improve visual clarity
of the data. Both two- and four-channel models have an
external trigger input, so that all input channels can
be used to capture and compare useful waveform information
whilst triggering the instrument from a known source.
A trigger view feature can be invoked to verify the characteristics
of the trigger source. Whatever the source, a high-resolution
digital frequency counter displays the trigger frequency
on-screen. Prices for the TDS2000 Series start from GBP
995.

High
Resolution PC Oscilloscope / Spectrum Analyzer : The
ADC-212/3 balances resolution, sampling rate, and cost to
make an ideal general purpose oscilloscope. The 3MS/s sampling
speed and 32k waveform buffer makes the ADC-212/3 an ideal
solution for high speed data acquisition / logging. The
12-bit resolution in the Y-axis gives the ADC-212/3 the
ability to detect changes as small as 0.024 per cent. Conventional
8-bit oscilloscopes only have the ability to detect changes
greater than 0.4%, but precision analogue and audio engineers
require the ability to detect signal changes of less than
0.1 per cent. Most digital storage oscilloscopes have front
end amplifiers designed for high bandwidth, these products
are no exception. Unlike most oscilloscopes however, the
front end amplifiers also exhibit very low levels of noise
and distortion. This low noise and distortion, combined
with the 12 bit resolution gives an 80dB dynamic range for
the spectrum analyser.
